Fire Safety

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 replaced many of the reference to fire safety in other legislation, with a simple, straight forward order.
Any person who exercises some level of control in premises is now required to take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and ensure occupants can safely escape if fire does occur.

This course looks at good fire safety measures in the workplace, and what your role as a fire warden involves.
We will cover fire safety law, common causes of fire, fire risk assessments, fire prevention, evacuation routes, emergency plans, fire drills, types of extinguishers and your responsibilities as a fire warden during a fire.
